Really friendly when we arrived from both locals and staff. Loads of character. Beautiful room. Not here for dinner unfortunately. Not this time anyway!!

While not the most affordable option, this restaurant is definitely worth the splurge. The steak was cooked to perfection, the chips were crispy, the wine was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place for a great meal out.

Steak was amazing, best steak I have had in a very very long time. Staff and servers also were so lovely and helpful when we were trying to understand the menu. I would recommend this place to anyone if they want to dress up fancy and do a nice little fine dine. Voir le carte

Stylishly furnished rooms with modern bathrooms. Unfortunately, it was relatively noisy in March 2024 due to the adjacent construction site and there is no parking in front of the hotel. The à la carte breakfast is very well prepared and a visit for dinner is also recommended. The prices are in the upper range.

a view of the menu will tell them that this restaurant is not cheap, but eating is excellent as the choice of steaks. Never has that saying that they get what they pay was more true. the steaks are cooked to perfection and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes her steak.

we had eaten here on Saturday with my parents and brother and had really good lunch. in a nice quiet location, but still only 5 minutes walk from the train station and the center of oxford. beautiful decoration, we ate in 'smoking room'. delicious eating to reasonable trips (try the beer can poussin, it was delicious! and very friendly service, good portion sizes also. highly recommended and set to eat our Go-to-Platz in oxford. next time the steak was tried, it looked delicious! the best steak I've had for a long time. service was great and very thorough. I had the starter of the knochenmark, which was more than expected and very tasty, my wife had the shattered garnel that was just as delicious. for the net we had a Sirloin steak, which was cooked for perfection and enjoyed seasonal. we divided 500ml of the burlesque zinfandel, which was a big pairing to the meal and the exact amount. we both have very happy and full. I would recommend this place to any steak lover.

I and my hubby were recently here for our jubilee staff was very welcome nothing was too much annoyed, space was exceptional only with larger tw ha loves everything about the place modern / temporary very well made with no cost saved. Unfortunately we did not here because we had booked another restaurant, but would like to try steaks look amazing, we have breakfast and it was exceptional that they pay for quality here and they get it very happy would definitely be back, oh and on a beautiful peaceful road not too far from the center 5min to foot! wish this place a lot luck

we were in porterhouse grill and rooms at a weekend visit to oxford. it was the perfect place! it is easily accessible for parking, public transport and the sights of the city. it is five minutes to walk in the heart of the city. we ate in the pub and dining room and all the food was excellent. although it is called the porterhouse grill, al the food was excellent. my wife had seabreams that were grilled over coal to perfection. my sirloin was as they would expect. but what made the trip exceptional was the personal. Every person we interacted with was courteous, respectful, efficient and funny. they were all superpersonal. I loved talking to ali about the similarities of our former lives. w... Voir le carte
