The Plough Harrow - Carte

6 of us went for a birthday meal. We all had the Sunday roast but different meats, all of us throughly enjoyed it. All had different desserts which were very tasty too. We will definitely be going back.

Had moms wake there yesterday they were so helpful and caring such a great selection of food very fresh.Great seated garden a little sun trap price was excellent value for money to manager and staff thank you for do a incredible job

This restaurant review is based on a birthday dinner for my 89-year-old mother. Unfortunately, my sister-in-law was not entirely satisfied with the experience as there were no disabled facilities in the women's restroom, which she found to be unsafe. Voir le carte

Been under new ownership for around a month and is much improved. It’s been spruced up, staff are friendly and the food a lot better. Opening just before Christmas has made it very busy, I just hope this continues into the dreaded January and February.

Terrible service,very slow. Sunday roast was a tiny spoonful of carrots etc. Beef obviously processed as literally a rectangle paper thin piece. Will not be going back. Poor waitress looked so deflated when she obviously knew what the answer to was everything OK ?going to be.

Leanne and Tom were extremely helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was fantastic - I had the half chicken combo, which was excellent, and my colleague enjoyed the Ham hock pie, which he said was delicious. The restaurant has recently reopened and been renovated, and the transformation is impressive. Beth and her team warmly welcomed us during our visit. The food was absolutely delightful, with generous portions and high quality. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for drinks multiple times. The overall improvement since reopening is remarkable, with a lovely atmosphere and excellent food and drinks. Definitely worth a visit, it's lovely.

Was once a fantastic Carvery, Haven’t been for a good few years but WOW… Not knocking the pub/decor etc. But that was probably the WORST Sunday dinner I’ve ever had. After waiting for about 45 mins, even though there was only about five other tables eating, I was expecting this £11 Pork Roast to be fantastic. Instead, My 3 Roast Potatoes nearly broke my teeth, the Cauliflower cheese and vegetables where cold and had to be changed and the gravy was like water. The 3 slices of Pork and tiny portion of mash, where ok I suppose but wasn’t really an adults portion. Now I know why the place wasn’t busy with regulars like it used to be. Shame, I miss the old boozer.

Just been reading the recent reviews for this lovely little pub on here and I’m sure they must be eating somewhere else… I pop in on my rare Sunday when I’m free for a Sunday Lunch, and always find it top notch. Meat is cooked beautifully, everything always arrives fresh, hot annd quickly, and the young girl that always seems to be there is very pleasant and efficient… perhaps it depends what time of day you go?! My only slight critisicim is that sometimes the gravy can be a bit watery. But to be quite honest, at £11 a throw it’s the best Sunday lunch I’ve tried in the area and finally something other than a carvery which makes my stomach turn seeing everything baking and drying out under ho...
