"Beautiful tea room, friendly service and what they had on offer was absolutely top notch. Would definitely give 5* but they were on a reduced menu so there was only one item for someone with dairy allergies (and none for vegans) which was the reason we'd gone because they'd gotten great reviews for their vegan options. Service was poor. No hello on arrival or goodbye. Not offered a menu. I had to tell my family what cake there was. Not doing food when we visited only cake at 1pm. We would have had a better time at the national trust café. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Long wait to be served...cold abrupt lady eventually served us...no menu offered...advised no savoury food for another 10 mins...cakes only...go look on the cabinet!...all negative, no warmth from her at all...other staff no smiles long faces....cakes were lackluster...coffee tea ok...what an awful experience, you don't treat customers like that...shamefull...locals but definitely won't return.
