"Drawn to place because it was dog friendly. First impressions of the bar area were good although we were the sole people there initially. Partner ordered ham eggs and I plumped for the mushroom risotto. Quite a long wait for the food but assumed this was a good sign. Not so! The risotto may have had one mushroom somewhere in it I suppose. It looked unappealing with the texture more like a rice pudding. In fact it almost tasted as if a bit of cheese had been stirred into an old rice pud! Partners ham eggs was fine apparently. Suggest the chef pays a trip to The Moorings in Blakeney for a lesson on what a risotto should look taste like."

We met up with three others for lunch at a restaurant where we were well looked after in a pleasant environment. The food was tasty and the service was excellent.

Had a good meal here a couple of weeks ago. Interesting and varied menu. Portions maybe on the small size and on the high price. Restaurant very quiet for a Saturday evening but enjoyable. Stall seemed quite inexperienced but pleasant

We (a group of pensioners) had a Christmas lunch at Caley hall and were very impressed by the quality (and quantity) of the food, the delightfully helpful service and the atmosphere that this created. We will return and will probably stay next time Voir le carte

We had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. The food was good. I had the Haddock and can recommended it and my wife had the burger. The staff were very nice but the service could have been more attentive, small issue not a major problem. Would have no problem recommending this.

We visited Old Hunstanton for a weekend recently and stayed at the hotel, the food was outstanding and made my think that the Michelin effect was responsible when we discovered a Michelin Star restaurant nearby........I am not sure whether this is true but the food was of the highest quality. Strongly recommended......

We had a pleasant dining experience for two at this restaurant. The decor and ambiance of the building were charming, the service was efficient, and our meals were served promptly. There was a good variety of options on the menu, with reasonable prices depending on your selection. The chocolate brownie dessert was especially tasty. Voir le carte

I recently visited this restaurant at Caley Hall Hotel to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were welcomed by a friendly member of staff and impressed by the spacious and beautifully decorated dining room. The menu offered plenty of options to choose from, and all three courses were beautifully presented and delicious. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was pleasant, making it a worthwhile visit.

We used this venue at least once a month for Sunday lunch, our last visit on the 4/3/18 was a disaster, The dining room was freezing cold as was the outside temperature, our table was next to a cold radiator. I did tell the waitress how cold we were and she replied I 'll change places with you as I 'm boiling hot from running in and out of the kitchen when the food arrived the plates where cold along with the food on it ! At least the cauliflower cheese was hot. This was supposed to be a meal to celebrate my wife 's 74th birthday. Our guests wife 's sister have just moved here

"We had pre-booked a table for 6 people to have lunch at 2:15pm. We arrived on time and were shown to the table, which had only been set for 4 people which meant we had to pull a further 2 chairs up to the table, and had to request a wine list. We ordered a round of drinks for the table which took c. 15 minutes to arrive. We were waiting a considerable amount of time for a food menu. Eventually we called a waiter over to order some food and were told that the kitchen we no longer serving, despite having booked a table for lunch and not being warned of the kitchen closing time. The staff told us to be quick in ordering however took a further 10 minutes to come and take the order. The food eventually came and the waitress didn 't even put the food at the correct place, she merely put them on the table for us to distribute accordingly. When the bill eventually came, we politely requested the *optional service charge was removed from the bill as we did not feel that we had received adequate service to warrant a tip, to which the manager began shouting that it as shocking that we wanted to rightfully remove the tip. He went on to say that the kitchen staff had stayed over time to prepare our food. My question to the owner is this... if your chefs are unwilling to work over their hours, why are you offering a reservation close to closing time whilst your staff are incapable of processing the orders to the kitchens in the correct timescale and working hours. If we were told that the kitchen were closing soon, we would have cooperated with the staff to help them work to their time scales."
