The Pennscot Inn - Carte

OMG, is fantastic! My partner and I had the best meal ever. He had the barbecue pork with all the sides, and I had the 10oz pork chop.

The atmosphere is nice and peaceful. The staff and locals are friendly. Enjoying Thatchers Gold while sitting on the grass was simply perfect.

Had a real nice meal, the staff were so busy, but they done well, and the chef knows what he is doing. We had an antipasti starter, my wife had thee pork belly and I had thee stake.

Booked a table. Normal menu plus the daily specials. There is table service and masks can be removed once seated. Food looks good and tastes great. All the staff wear masks and tables are cleaned between sittings. My friend and I had a relaxed meal which we thoroughly enjoyed.

This cozy local pub offers a solid selection of beers and a diverse range of flavors (I believe there is a significant difference between the two). The cheesy chips here are some of the best I've ever tasted. It's also a fantastic stop after a 5-mile walk up and down Crooks Peak, which boasts stunning views of the Somerset Levels. Voir le carte

This restaurant offers generous homemade dishes at very affordable prices. It's the ideal spot to stop for lunch on your way to the airport. I enjoyed the ham and chips, which featured delicious ham, perfectly cooked eggs, and the best chips I’ve had in ages. These weren’t your typical frozen fries; they were classic, hand-cut chips that really made the meal stand out.

booked a table for 10 for Sunday lunch. the pub was heaving, but the service was efficient and the roast beef meal I certainly had the best what I had in a pub was nice and the part was generous. each person in our party enjoyed their meal and said how delicious it was. the crowning glory for me was the friendly reception for all of us plus my little dog. we will definitely eat there again. highly recommended.

Let's start off with the bad bit , being on holiday in the area I could only manage one visit as the food was brilliant I choose my food off the board, a Spanish dish and loved it. Midweek and it was busy which says a lot for what they do. Hope to go back to the area and will make sure I visit again. Highly recommended we could see the food they were bringing out and it all looked very nice sadly I did not try the beer as I don't drink and drive at all not even a half pint. Voir le carte
