I am in vacation in chew magna. not ate here, but I had some excellent beer and friendly service.

Great lunch. Extensive menu and everything was excellent. Secluded and spacious garden area. Fantastic service. Brilliant app order set up!

I had one of the best roast dinners at this restaurant. The lamb was incredibly tender and the potatoes were perfectly crispy. The pint I had was also very enjoyable.

Such a beautiful pub. Great food and and plenty of choice from the menu to suit all taste buds..large car park. Lovely views ...would definitely be visiting again. Really friendly and helpful staff.

Held a baby shower in the barn this week and the staff were really helpful and food was delicious! Would come here again in a flash and recommend anybody who's having a small gathering to hire out the barn space (we had a maximum of 20 people) x

We had lunch in the stunning garden at sunset and were extremely pleased with our experience. Despite the wait for our food, I didn't mind as the ambiance was so enjoyable. The crab linguine was delicious and all in all, it was a lovely place to be on a Sunday afternoon.

we held a baby shower/birth party yesterday and had the room separated to the pub. it was perfect for what we wanted a lot of space and good with beautiful toilets. the food was delicious! quiche sausage rolling smoked salmon wrapped huge sandwiches and pork scratches and chips. next time go for a meal as the menu looked amazing

Had a great dinner on Wednesday July while staying nearby. I am a gluten free vegetarian so I nearly always end up having risotto when out. I have no idea why the last couple of reviewers complained. It was a delicious risotto! Packed full of beautifully cooked veg and herbs. It was so big and delicious I had to have a doggy bag to take some home! My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger too. Great selection of beers, lovely wines, and a comfy table with nice decor. The waitress was the real star of the night. I didn't get her name but he had long blonde hair and was so friendly and attentive. Would definitely return if in the area

I just wanted to thank you for the most lovely meal and top class service from the team at the pelly last night. After a long day at longleat safari park we called in for dinner on our way home. The staff were so accommodating to my daughters fussy needs, making her chicken goujons, which were absolutely delicious!! Freshly cooked and far superior to the usual 'chicken nuggets ' found in pubs! My little boy was exhausted and fell asleep on my knee and staff were really lovely about this too. They were all friendly and obliging and went way above and beyond in everything. Thank you so much. We all had a great time and enjoyed great food!
