"Recommend but very disappointed. Visited Elie today 3rd June for brunch about 11.30 after it was recommended by a dog walker. Have to say was very disappointed. 1 table was occupied so rather quiet. 3 members of staff behind counter with very little to do. We had to ask for menus as they were not on the table but stumbled across them stacked up near the counter. We had 2 panini’s a roll in lorn sausage and 2 plates of chips. The panini’s were ok nothing exciting, the mixed salad was not nice however the coleslaw was delicious. The roll was so powdered in flour it was all over the place, very messy, the sausage was overdone. The worst part were the chips, absolutely disgusting had to cover them in sauce. They tasted like cheap frozen chips overcooked. It felt like we weee given the dregs left from the frier, over cooked a very greasy. We were all really hungry as we skipped breakfast so just ate the food but have to say for a cafe attached to a golf club we were expecting better. Sorry but won’t be back."

The food in this wee sports club is amazing! I've been a few times and the service was previously quite slow but much quicker this year. Great place for lunch, really good food and friendly service.

Had a wee walk along the shores of Elie, and it was time for lunch. Asked a local for a good place for lunch, and The Pavilion was recommended. Good service, good food. Next we are in the area this will be our lunchtime stop.

The coffee was excellent, the staff and facilities were lovely. There is a covered seating area in the front and it is dog-friendly outside. They have a good selection of cakes, coffee, sandwiches, etc. I would definitely recommend this place.

Visited The Pavilion cafe several times during my holiday, what a fantastic wee find. Staff always smiling, rare to find that these days. Very friendly. The food was excellent. Popped in for snacks throughout the day and we had 3 evening meals. One evening I...

I went to The Pavilion for the first time and brought my mom for high tea to celebrate her birthday. The food was delicious and served hot. The cakes were particularly tasty, but we were so full that we had to take some home. The staff were incredibly friendly and chatty.

We stopped in for lunch and had three soup options to choose from. I went with the classic Scottish Cullen Skink and it was delicious. My wife tried the lentil soup and enjoyed it. For dessert, we each had a gluten-free Frangipane and enjoyed it with a cup of delicious coffee. Voir le carte

Although their website states that they are open until 10pm, this place was closed on a Saturday evening by 5.30. When I emailed them (through their website) they claimed I must have been looking at another website. Then they said that their hours were only past 5 o’clock if they were booked in advance. I gave up at that point.

We spotted a sign for this little gem whilst walking along the street, so decided to pop in for our lunch. We had the soup and sandwich combo, the soup was lentil it was delicious and the sandwich was fresh and tasty too. The place was busy which is always a good sign and the staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it that much we went back the next day too!
