"Wow wow.. we stumbled upon this diamond in the rough whilst on our way back from a hike up Pen y fam. We were starving with no reservation, walked in hoping they could serve us on a Saturday night. As i walked in, the first thing i noticed was the largest most awesome plate of dirty fries i have ever seen and instantly thought.. jesus.. what is this place?! The bar manager came over to us and realised we were weary travellers needing some good cold beer and lots of food.. after moving things around for a minute they managed to fit us in and I'm so thankful for that. The food was super delicious, home cooked and big portions. The atmosphere was so friendly, welcoming, and warm. The service was absolutely spot on, couldnt have asked for a better experience. I hope to be back one day for the live music and Kareoke night, by all accounts its not to be missed!"

"Well what an absolutely brilliant experience we had at the willow tree from pre booking the table , communication , seating , meal and staff Everything was absolutely brilliant , 29 in our party , ranging from 17mths to 73 years , every single staff were so helpful and friendly , the food came out so quickly we all were eating at the same time and every meal was perfect , the willow tree was light and airy very clean with lovely views , just perfect , Thanks for making our day so exceptional X x x x Dietary restrictions: They were really careful and aware of 3 of our party having nut allergies Parking: Although the willow tree is in a shopping centre we had no problems parking Kid-friendliness: Although was nippy the day we came there is a secure park in the front"

"Visited this establishment on the 30/12/2023 for breakfast with the. Family all I can say what a diabolical breakfast for the price ,rationing went out in the war ,the amount of beans in the bowl was unbelievable,1 scoop I asked for a bigger portion and the boy serving returned with a similar portion as first, on my plate was 1 slice of bread , something that resembled scrambled egg ,1 scabby piece of bacon well cooked ,burnt offering I asked for the manager who never appeared so I just asked for my money back ,let's just say I won't be returning to this establishment for breakfast in the future there are far better establishments in the town who do a much better value breakfast i left with no food utterly disgusting experience.The photos on the menu are edited as it. Looks like nothing what you get on your plate .I would definitely recommend going to other cafes in the town .There is a much better cafe a bit further up with the near enough same price breakfast but you get way more and better quality food ."

"My wife and I recently enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch at this restaurant. We were impressed with the generous portions of flavorful, well-cooked food. The total bill for both of us, including my pint of bitter, came to £22, which we found to be a ridiculously good value considering the quality of the meal. We even double-checked the bill to make sure we had been charged for both of us. The service was excellent and we had a lovely lunch experience overall. (Service: Dine-in, Meal type: Lunch)"

"Weve not been in here since just before lock down omg what a change and not for the better ,change of everything ,looks like only 1 original staff member there and she was more out the back and she should be front of house as shes a people person with a smile that welcomes you,but not this visit staff not friendly ordered coffee which went to another table, staff seemed disorganised and not working as a team took ages before they realised total shambles, sorry but wont be going back , poor selection of cakes used to be great but its lost its charm"
