We didn't eat, but we spoke to people who said the food is just as good as its beers. Pubs like this are disappearing at an alarming rate. Use them or lose them. Excellent cheese and onion cob with a side of chips washed down with a pint , don't tell anyone though as I would not like them to sell out before I get there next time

Excellent haven't been for a while called for lunch yesterday, been taken over yet again, (I think) had jacket spud and prawns, sald very generous helpings, partner had Salmon in sauce, not over done just right ! Keep doing what your doing thanks

The Old Swan 'Ma Pardoe 's ' takes its nickname from Mrs Doris Pardoe licensee until 1984. The pub is grade 2 listed, it 's unspoilt interior is recognised as being of national importance, unchanged since Victorian times the enamel panelled ceiling in the front bar is an incredible rarity. The pub also has its own brewhouse and still brews its own beer. Good beer Good Food one of my favourite pubs in all of England.
