Visited today for the first time for breakfast and it was stunning. We had the First Offence and it was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had and at £6.95 it is a steal!! We will be back. Absolutely stunning venue as well.

Had a brilliant time at the old court house towards the end of Jan. Great selection of lager on tap alongside the cocktails. Highly recommend the diabolo burger and dirty nacho fries if you're hungry with all round service topping off the trip nicely. Voir le carte

On a Saturday afternoon, Consett is typically known for its pubs. However, this particular establishment is a great option for a mature couple or a group of friends looking to enjoy a drink. With good deals on offer and a comfortable atmosphere, I would highly recommend stopping by.

We came here for cocktails during a girls' afternoon out. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, providing personalized service. The cocktails were good, the wine was of good quality, and they even offered freshly made munchies (including from-scratch pizza). I highly recommend this place.

I had the steak hanging kebabs, which were really tasty and a generous portion size, followed by the s’mores dessert, which was delicious. My friend also enjoyed the steak hanging kebab followed by the waffle dessert feedback on both were good! The staff were really welcoming and friendly. I went to the restaurant with my husband and three other family members. I ordered the chicken burger from the specials menu and the loaded nacho fries. Both dishes were presented well and very tasty, making for a very enjoyable meal. The rest of my family had lasagna, classic burgers, and fries, and everyone enjoyed their food. The service was very good and we didn't have to wait long, even though the restaurant was busy. The staff was very helpful, and both the bar staff and restaurant staff were friendly and welcoming. We all had a great night and will definitely be returning.

I visited recently with a friend for Bottomless Brunch. We usually venture into Newcastle or Durham and wondered if it would be as good. It was excellent and i'd definitely go again. For food there was a choice of burgers, pizzas or 3 small plates, we went with a pizza and 3 small plates, they were all faultless. Drinks we stuck to cocktails all of which were made fresh and then a glass of prosecco. For me, freshly made cocktails is a game changer for bottomless brunch, they were fab. The staff were all attentive and made sure our glasses were never empty. All in all an excellent afternoon, I hope its as satisfactory at busier times as it really was faultless.

Arrived having booked a table very little organisation when being seated. Ordered with a little confusion but got there in the end then waited around 90 minutes for food 3 pizzas and a burger. Would like to say it was worth the wait but it really wasn’t. Poor cheap pre made bases that were more like bread , generally looked like a really poor standard pizza and tasted even worse. This was a half price deal and still felt it was over priced due to quality. Burger better but not hot kitchen staff seemed to spend a lot of time reading the orders but not many dishes were appearing and those that were must have had things left standing due to the temp of the burger.
