large owners and staff. we come every week after the brilliant baby cherubs baby group for delicious food and great coffee. they care about babies and children by making toys and a safe area for them. we cannot recommend it enough!

Nice food, but the chicken tikka marsala, is like a weight watchers portion, tiny, pudding was nice, but custard, even with an extra one, was small, the pub is lovely and the food quality was good. I personally would cook curries myself rather than buy in portions.

Food was brilliant and the staff are extremely friendly. It had been very busy during the day and had apparently been understaffed however this didn't affect the quality of the food, service or cleanliness of the place. Highly recommended and will be coming back regularly

Great pub just what we were looking for, a short walk from Red Rocks Caravan Park. A good selection of beers and lagers. The food menu looked good and people who were dining clearly were regulars, always a good sign can't comment as we didn't dine. Service was excellent warlm welcome from the young man behind the bar.

We ordered two steaks and they were cooked perfectly, just as we requested. The chef brought out the food quickly and ensured we had a pleasant dining experience. The desserts were fantastic and delicious. We couldn't have asked for better service from The Oak. We are happy to say we will definitely be returning soon.

6 of us popped in today for lunch. 5 of us ordered off the Sunday menu and the oak let one of us order from the regular menu (which was appreciated) I had the beef Sunday roast and it was very nice decent amount of well cooked beef, tasty gravy and nice accompanying potatoes, parsnip, veg and Yorkshire pudding. Would def visit for Sunday lunch again

today for lunch. was not in it. has a nice home now. the beautiful waitress was very attentive and friendly. we had lunch with lamb and everything I can say is wow! it was absolutely fantastic. really well presented and the taste was tasteful. my daughter had the dirty fries with huh and garlic bread. she is mis fussy and she said that it was the best hen she had! really enjoyed eating and will definitely be back. well done to the new manager and cook.

we made a last minute decision to eat in the evening of Mother's Day. what a happy choice we have made? although very busy a table was found and we enjoyed three excellent meals. from the moment we went, we were impressed by the cheerful and friendly staff, especially megan, our hostess and server. she was charming and ozed efficiency and hospitable. our food was well presented, served hot and was delicious. we have a really happy and friendly bush over the place and commented that we are visiting to pay a return visit. (the 5 stars food hygiene assessment is a soothing bonus) overall we consider this an excellent place for a no frills good quality pub meal. I intend to mention it to friends...

Nice local pub, only one real ale on the the pumps but it was Sunday night and nice keg session IPA available. Restaurant area was comfortable and welcoming and kid friendly including the provision of connect 4 and guess who for us to play whilst waiting. Food is the usual pub grub selection of burgers, classics and the Sunday roast of course. Service took a while but it was definitely worth it, large quality portions of well prepared fresh food. The kids fish goujons were huge and looked home made, the roasts looked fab including a big Yorkshire pud and sprinkled with crispy parsnip shavings. Adult burgers were similarly filling and tasty.
