The Moat House is the place you want to go to if you have that special occasion to celebrate or simply want to dine and relax in a beautiful setting with quality furniture and fittings. The food is what can be expected from a high end restaurant, very well presented with the use of high quality produce. The staff are always friendly and attentive which makes for a pleasant dining experience. Weddings are very popular here as, are Proms and conference’s. During the warmer weather, take advantage of the outdoor seating in the well maintained grounds and picturesque Lake. Definitely a place to go for a rememberable time. What a beautiful place! The setting of the location is scenic like out of a movie! With a large pond outside the front. The hotel itself is beautifully rustic and makes you feel like your walking back in time. But it also has this modern element which is perfectly entwined. Would be a perfect place for wedding or christening. Was here for a work graduation afternoon tea. The room we had was right at the back of the restaurant and was decorated beautifully. The afternoon tea was delicious with a wide selection of food for everyone. The staff even bought us take away boxes to take the left overs away.
