"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with a fresh and healthy menu. I decided to try the buckwheat pancakes for brunch, which were extremely filling and topped with chocolate sauce and berries. I typically don't go for healthy options, but this was a delightful compromise for me. My friend ordered the shrooms and greens, a delicious combination of mushrooms and greens served on sourdough bread. The portion sizes were generous and the quality of the food exceeded the price. Although I'm not vegan, I would happily eat food like this regularly. Our server, Adam, was helpful, friendly, and attentive, adding to the overall fantastic experience. I highly recommend this restaurant as an alternative to traditional cafes."

"I recently dined at this establishment and had a wonderful experience. For my meal type, I would classify it as "Other," which really captures the relaxed vibe of the place. The price was incredibly reasonable, with a cost of just £1–10 per person. Everything I tried was delicious, earning a perfect score of 5 for the food. The service was equally impressive; the staff were attentive and friendly, also receiving a 5. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal, and that too merits a score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Hot Chocolate with Cream and Marshmallow – it was the highlight of my visit! Overall, this restaurant is a gem that I would gladly revisit. "

"The food was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The curry portions are quite generous, but I find that the amount of rice served doesn't justify the price. The service was adequate, although there is room for improvement. The atmosphere felt rather dull. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 1."

"I last visited Peck's for a birthday in December 2022, and had the a la carte menu. It was quite good at the time, and I remembered this when I was making my booking for Valentine's Day, and was excited to sample the 6 course special menu (which is not cheap at £60 a head, but I paid much the same the previous years' VD at the Post House in Stafford. We were greeted nicely, and lead to a intimately lit area and immaculately laid table. First impressions were good. Issues raised by other Tripadvisor reviewers, in regard to poor quality of service, or a cold environment, were not present. The house was packed out, and our anticipation was high. But one problem, and it is a big problem, reported by others and experienced by myself: the food is terribly bland. I didn't expect big portions, but I did expect a great taste experience, and on that score, it fell very flat. Do the chefs taste what they are sending out? The dishes that they prepare may have great presentation, there's no doubting that, but the experience of eating it was a major let down. I left disappointed, and feeling that I did not get good value for my expensive meal. A shame."

"Been a couple of times recently and it's been very pleasant. A really nice comfortable pub/bar in a great location. A fantastic range of drinks that suit every need and a food offering that ticks a lot of boxes. The team were super friendly and welcoming, even on a busy new years eve (early evening) and we felt very relaxed and at home with out two little kids too which was great. Nice to find somewhere the parents can enjoy a drink whilst the kids are catered for also. There's a kids food menu which was good also with our little ones having chicken strips, chips and peas...they loved it. Will definitely be heading back in the new year."
