"Great place and wish they would be open teatime as would be there every night. The only thing wrong with this place is they are a bit mean on portion quantity say if you wanted more of certain items on a salad. Say I wanted more cucumber or more rocket salad than iceberg they would give a tiny bit extra even though I wasn't having half the other salad items. Even if you say you will pay extra they still seem to hold back. Maybe because they don't want to run out but in that case they should hold more stock as it lasts for days when fresh"

If your in formby an need buttys,and much more this little place is the to go thy don't hang back on the fillings and it doesn't hurt your pockets,always fresh brilliant staff highly recommend

Always stop off and grab lunch with these guys if I'm ever in Formby!! Absolutely fabulous place and all the guys at The Lunch Hour are great!!! Been here a few times but only left one review!!!

A great place for the freshest sandwiches. All sandwiches are made to order using fresh ingredients. Delivery is available but ring early during the busy lunchtime as the place is rammed and the delivery driver goes as fast as he can.

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate how full the sandwich picture I posted is... you won’t get that at Tesco! The food at Formby Lunch hour is always extremely fresh, well prepared and hot were it needs to be. Can not fault this place! Even when I go in with an order that isn’t on the menu they have no issue knocking it up for me.

Been going here a few years. Am a housebound/bedridden lady who relies on LH pasta boxes for my nutrients when son is too poorly himself, to cook. They always go above and beyond. So polite and caring and helpful. They are also good with my autistic son. Food is yummy. Funny thing is I get surrounded by four cats all wanting some of it. One even likes the pasta! I just hope they don’t tell their friends or I will have a line out the door! Their cakes are yummy too. And they rectify errors no questions asked
