Nice little restaurant upstairs with a friendly owner and nice food however it's very different in flavor and taste to many other Indians I've ate at and where I liked it, I didn't really love it. Worth a visit anyway

Went for the first time this evening, wouldn't say it was the best happier service would've been nicer, plus the room was a little cold but other than that everything was fine. Food was nice although mind the tikka masala, rather on the spicy side. Food was nicely presented

The Pir Mahal is a cracking restaurant, Recently renovated but the food has remained the same.... great curries, good friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Lunchtime sit-ins are a must! We try to go at least once a week.A very very good curry house. Centrally located across from the train/bus station. Well worth a visit if you like your curries the way they should be. First class

Ordered a takeaway on a Sunday night, was told it wouldn't take long as they were not busy.Called nearly an hour later and was told it was on the way. mins after that it turns up, piping hot, so it's just been made.I'm not pleased as it's getting late now, take it into the kitchen and open the curry containers, one is fine, the other has tiny little pieces of chicken in it, it's basically a bowl of sauce. I'm now very unhappy.I call to complain and am told the manager is not available but am assured by the person answering the phone all curries have pieces of chicken in them and he counted them himself. isn't and they're not even what I'd consider to be a bite-sized piece, they're the size o...
