I believe this is the best pub in Brockenhurst. They serve delicious wood-fired pizza and have a beautiful garden. What's not to love?

The starters were reasonably good, but the main course, a Sunday roast, was a bit disappointing. The gravy was quite watery, and the Yorkshire pudding was very dry. It was also disappointing not to have a variety of condiments. The price per person was around £40–50. Food: 3/5, Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 4/5. I would recommend trying the Cauliflower Cheese.

This was our first holiday away of the year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you in the Mallard suite and the food was fantastic! all of the staff we encountered were very professional , respectful and also highly attentive. This is a fantastic place to stay and dine in Brockenhurst with beautiful walks only a short distance away too. You will not be disappointed with your visit. We hope to be back soon ! . 2nd visit to the Huntsman. Lovely place, nice atmosphere, very good Sunday roast. Pork however didn 't seem to be as generous as it could have been. However, the food was good. Roast potatoes needed a bit more roast , bit more crispy would have been great. Dessert was slightly disappointing; apple crumble was finished-gutted, that 's a staple for a wintery Sunday roast meal. Instead, opted for the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Came with a choice of cream/ custard/ice cream. However, I have never had an STP in over 30 years that didn 't have any toffee sauce!? Just the sponge and the ice cream.... That 's not an STP any which way you look at it. Vegetarian options: Mushroom and camembert wellington.... Voir le carte
