Lovely, friendly pub with tasty food. I don’t drink alcohol, but my friends all seemed happy with their drinks and it’s a great place for a meal.

Overpriced and bland. Some of the staff were pleasant, others not so. The place had a weird vibe to it that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Beer was OK, nothing special. Overall a very, very disappointing experience. Never again :

Spend Bank holiday Monday at this pub great Caribbean food and music. Lovely way to spend the last Bank holiday. Staff as always very friendly. It’s a great family pub a real community pub. The new menu is great my husband loves a burger and he wasn’t disappointed.

My family and I went to this restaurant for Sunday lunch and were extremely disappointed with both the quality and quantity of the food. We used to be regular customers and the food, especially the roast, was excellent when they had the Bang Bang burger residency. However, the standard has suddenly dropped. We will return for drinks, but not for food. It's a pity because we really enjoy the atmosphere of the pub.

Used to have amazing burgers from bang bang burgers. Replaced by new kitchen management burgers are named the same but a shadow of their former self. Really poor and more expensive! Knew something wasn’t right when the food arrived very late. Overly sweet heavy doughy bun. Cheap well done salty meat. Massive slice of tomato. Leathery lettuce. No passion, no idea how to make a burger. Nice pub but food has sadly taken a downturn. Voir le carte

Terrible service… inattentive staff! I had made a reservation for a Sunday roast, only to arrive and discover that they were out of vegan options and had nothing else suitable for a vegan. They refused to accommodate a plate of vegetables for me, even though I was willing to pay the full price. I had no choice but to leave! As a vegan, I have never experienced such poor customer service. I hope this review deters others with dietary restrictions from dining at the Honor Oak pub. Shame on you!

I visited this restaurant today for my birthday with my son, daughter-in-law, her mother, and two grandchildren. Everything exceeded my expectations - there was live music and a special shoutout to the singer who sang me happy birthday. The food was exceptional, clearly made with love and care. The atmosphere was relaxed, and all the staff were incredibly happy, friendly, and helpful. A special thank you to Natalie, the owner, who checked in to make sure everything was okay and even took some photos for us. I highly recommend this place and had an amazing time - I didn't want to leave. Thank you to everyone involved. Hazel.

After previously leaving an outstanding review only 4 months ago, something has gone terribly wrong here. We are regular visitors and felt 3 weeks ago was just a blip!! However today was shocking. Service awful, food came out in dribs and drabs. Extra veg portion was stone cold. Waitress was rude. Upon explaining the ver was cold she simply took it off me with a word and walked away. After about half an hour when the party of 7 had all finished their meal she brought the veg back !! I said I’d like a refund please. She replied oh !
