"I booked for 2 not realising that we had a baby with us that would need a high chair not that he was going to eat (too young) so we weren’t seated in an accessible area which I take full responsibility for. This did not deter us from having a very enjoyable meal albeit a tad expensive. The steak pie was full of tender steak and was served with fat chips loads of gravy and roasted carrots and parsnips. Some green vegetables would have made it excellent and more worth the price. My daughter enjoyed her haddock and chips. We declined desert as were full. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Will look forward to another visit soon."

Third time of bringing visiting family here for Sunday lunch. Superb as always! Between us ordered all of the different meat choices, all were delicious.

We keep coming back to this pub for quiet weekday lunches and family groups. The food is delishous everytime and the staff are also warm and accommodating. We haven't had chance to try an evening meal yet but would look forward to the experience.
