"I recently visited Efes Restaurant Bar and was blown away by the experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, with a lively bar area and cozy seating areas. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and were happy to recommend dishes and cocktails based on our preferences. The food was absolutely delicious we tried a range of traditional Turkish dishes, and each one was bursting with flavor. The presentation was also beautiful, with the dishes being served on colorful plates and garnished with herbs and spices. The cocktail bar was impressive, with a wide range of options to choose from. We sampled a few different cocktails and were impressed by the creativity and quality of the drinks. The bar staff were knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and were happy to chat with us about the different flavors and ingredients used in the cocktails. Overall, I would highly recommend Efes Restaurant Bar to anyone looking for an authentic Turkish dining experience in central London. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are all top notch, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning to Efes in the future."

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."

"Apart from the friendliest staff, this place boasts a great menu and a lovely atmosphere. It's mine and my husband's favourite restaurant in North London and we are lucky enough to live just around the corner. We own another local vegan restaurant on the same road but do not hesitate to talk about Keren View. Please, please, please support this amazing small mother-daughter run business. While you're there, you might be lucky enough to have a cup of tea with the owner and learn about Eritrean culture. Honestly, Keren View is North London's hidden gem. I recommend their hummus and salad, injera (if you need another portion to finish your meal, I believe it is free), Brsa, Hamli, Atter, and my favourite, Ades. I must admit that these are the only dishes I have tried. For dessert, I recommend the dates with a cup of Camomile Tea or their sorbet. Sometimes they have different cakes available too which have always been delicious. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do."

"Interesting dishes overall and good value for money. We have had a good experience, they are very generous with food offered (extra dish of mushrooms for us, extra dessert and two extra snacks towards the end of our meal . The ingredients’ combinations are creative. I did not expect that cucumber could go so well with meringue and lime sorbet, delicious lobster with purée and the goat milk butter with sourdough was fantastic, the list goes on I guess! Thank you Jan and everyone that had assisted us throughout our dinner there. We will definitely be back soon, and whenever we are in London :"

"Local treasure This genuine bistro serves exceptionally good food in a cosy, unpretentious space. I always have a satisfying time here. The staff are charming and attentive, devoted to their craft and genuinely happy to serve. The little details reveal an impressive eye for detail. The perfectly baked bread for example. One detail comes to mind, my friend ordered a fish dish, it arrived looking delicious but on top it was sprinkled with flat leaf parsley which my friend really dislikes. The waiter took it away and brought her one without the garnish even though it meant making the dish all over again. That level of service is rare these days. I had the fabulous value steak frites, for under 18. it's a great deal and comes with your choice of sauce. I asked if I could substitute a green veg instead of the frites and once again the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I love this place and whenever I go to Marylebone I pop in."
