The food was disappointing; it was reheated and difficult to cut. We sent the dish back, but it returned just as tough. The staff seemed equally frustrated and were arguing among themselves in the background. We won't be returning.

This is a lovely spot with a great selection of ales and cozy comfort food. The portion sizes are generous, offering great value for your money, and the quality of the food is excellent. Plus, there are stunning views of the hills leading to Manchester.

for Sunday dinner. the meals ordered and one because waited. when the meal came, they were only lukewarm. they asked if they could heat them and brought two fresh meals. they were hot and beautiful. I had a cream roar for dessert, but portion very small for price.
