good eating very good price-performance ratio fast efficient service what more could they ask? if you are looking for a picture on a teller at ridiculous price, stay away, you will not get this here.

I was very disappointed with my experience. The breakfast is served from 10 am to 12 pm, but I was turned away at 11:30 am. This was surprising, as this pub usually provides good service. I will not be returning.

Country style pub which appeared to be very popular with locals, good choice of meals at reasonable prices accompanied with pleasant, attentive staff. A good plus point about this place was that it is very wheelchair friendly. Well worth a visit Voir le carte

I can't find any negatives here. The food and staff were both amazing. The Christmas decorations were incredible. The portion sizes were great and the food was delicious. My kids even loved their meals. We will definitely be returning. Wishing everyone at the restaurant a fantastic Christmas.

I visited this restaurant today and it was absolutely amazing. Walking in, I was greeted by all the Christmas decorations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was great! The menu had a wide range of choices, unlike some other pubs that offer small portions or overly spicy food. It was proper food that everyone could enjoy.

what a great place to eat, drink and recover. it was also close to hallowe’en and great decorations. there for dinner (her speciality was superb and eating was all full-sized generous portions) and loved it so much we went back a few days later for an excellent brunch. great personal, clean and safe pub/restaurant and all round an excellent experience. Took our 18 month old last Sunday to see all the lights and decorations, had the choice of the extensive normal menu and Christmas set menu too. We shared the garlic mushroom starter in thick creamy sauce, was very nice and plenty of mushrooms. We had 2 roast dinner mains, the portions were huge and a brownie with ice cream dessert. Cannot fault the food or the service, prices were fair and nice to see the Hanging Gate still doing well at Christmas time.

We visited here on friday the 27th october. was greeted with a nice warm welcome and shown to our table where the rest of my family was, the pub was decorated amazing with the halloween dectorations, they have started on the xmas decs upstairs which i loved and will defenifty be back to see them all, i had chicken breast in a stitlon sauce which was amzing the sauce was lovely my dad had a t bone steak and omg it was amazing. will be back for the xmas decs

Absolutely disgraceful experience. Table booked two weeks prior and rang up the day before to double check booking and told all was good. We turned up and non of the staff knew about our booking, gave the name and we were told there wasn’t a table. We told them we had booked two weeks prior and had even rang a few days ago to double check due to the busy Christmas period and explained the table was booked for us. Terrible management of staff and dining, terrible organisation, nothing was done to remedy the situation and we took our service elsewhere.
