Called in tonight with family had lovely fish n chips very tasty and great service

Landlord is very personable and helpful. Food didn't quite meet expectations, hence the 4 stars.

Went for Sunday lunch, we had the Sunday roast for two, it was delicious. The chocolate brownies were to die for . We was served by a lovely ellie Voir le carte

I had a delightful brunch with my grandson. All the dishes were freshly cooked and full of flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning.

Visited yesterday afternoon for brunch. Lovely place, very clean, friendly staff, nothing was to much trouble. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was lovely. The food was outstanding, amazing flavours and great portion sizes and very well presented. We will definitely be back soon and will be recommending the place to our friends and family. We had a wonderful family celebration for my mum's 80th birthday with her siblings at this restaurant. Our server, Michelle, went above and beyond to make our experience special. We were fortunate to have the restaurant all to ourselves and were told to feel free to laugh as loudly as we wanted and stay as long as we pleased. We are very thankful for the excellent service we received.

Whilst the staff were friendly and helpful the menue is a little confusing and very expensive. We chose items of the lite bites but you would need to order 3 or 4 items to actually complete a plate of food meaning a spend of around £30 for a main. We also ordered some the the specials which like the lite bites was very tasty but too expensive and the portion size was small. Larger cheaper meals and we 'd return otherwise sadly not.

Went here On Saturday , just awful food, steak I was served was off, having worked in steak restaurant for 10 years I can tell the difference between rotten and aged. Both children had steak and chips, inedible. Returned my very overcooked off steak to kitchen having had to spit out second mouthful, chef did say it’s aged but would cook one that had come in recently. We had heard great new reviews but sadly not on this evening.The limited evening menu was without the fish as it hadn’t arrived Lovely staff though. Voir le carte
