We went for a snack, it was my last day in England and it was a very interesting experience, in this place they train dogs to help people with hearing problems. Beautiful location on that lovely warm weekend in October. We sat outside by the lovely English garden terrace. We ordered quickly. The venue warrants a better restaurant experience and menu. The quality of the food is disappointing (4th below par visit). Its more like a cafe. Its often busy so maybe we hold a minority view point. For consistency, menu, service and standards there are much better options not too far away. Sorry for the bad review. :o/

We've been here a few times and service, if you're having coffee is really good. However, this time we decided to have brunch and there were several issues. The first is that we were not checked in as arriving which meant we are blacklisted by Open Table. It took 30 minutes for our order to arrive. I'd ordered poached eggs with my breakfast meal and fried eggs arrived (these were replaced). My wife had ordered eggs royal and the muffin was hard and the poached eggs were not runny at all, they were effectively boiled eggs. The staff are very polite and helpful but the overall impression is not good on this occasion. I'm sure we will try again as the experience for coffee and cake is always go...
