We both felt very safe thanks to the well-planned one-way system, all staff wearing face masks, and the easy ordering system with table service. We had a pleasant conversation with Henry, who clearly worked hard to ensure the safety of both employees and customers. We will definitely return to support Henry and his business again."

I absolutely adore this pub! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the garden is the best on the high street. I just wish they served dinner, even a few nice sandwiches would be perfect. I highly recommend this place!

Revisited The George after 35 years. My parents used to run the place and I was around 13 yrs old. So good to see it's still as lively as I remember. Staff very welcoming and happy to chat about the changes over the years. Lovely beer garden . A little biased but I highly recommend a drink here.
