"We enjoy heading out from our house for lovely walks through the forest to grab a drink or a meal, and we've never been disappointed. The extensive menu features a variety of options, and the staff is always friendly. The wine is served at the perfect temperature. There are daily specials that include curry, pasta, and other dishes, along with freshly baked pizza from the pizza oven on weekends. Tonight, we were back with a party of 15 and thoroughly enjoyed our meals, presented in a modern style and accompanied by cheerful service. Although the dining can be on the pricier side, the portion sizes are excellent. The children's menu is also great, but our 11-year-old prefers to select smaller portions from the adult menu."

We had a drink sitting outside in the sun, then went in for lunch. The ribs were amazing, the staff want you to enjoy yourselves and nothing is too much trouble. Food and service was outstanding.

Excellent stop for cyclists walkers on the Castlemaine trail. Superb quality breakfast good value. Nice watching the golfers come go! You can even have a go on the driving range as they provide clubs.

We come here very regularly with our dogs and love this place. Staff always lovely and accommodating. Nick and Vasek great characters. We brought a party in for Xmas lunch last week and every member of our party said it was the best Xmas dinner they'd ever had...it was fabulous. Thank you guys...keep up the good work. Voir le carte

Good food we had small rack of ribs with coleslaw and the chicken and bacon salad which had egg avocado and was o e of the best salad I have had in a long time. They are dog friendly but the disabled toilet is a bit hard to manoeuvre a large wheel chair.. The door needs to open the other way... Wonderful pictures setting and a large car park

On Mother's Day, we dined at the Forest House for a Sunday roast, and the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions! The only issue I had was with our little one’s milk allergy; we found it a bit challenging to accommodate this, as the only alternative offered was plain flour instead of a cheese sauce. Nonetheless, it was a wonderful meal overall!
