"We had a baby shower booked for here. They offered a seating place upstairs which we decorated ourselves. This is a long table which can sit up to 25ish. Although we brought our own deco, we were not allowed to stick anything on the wall or to use confetti on the tables. There is a sitting area near the bar and a lot of furniture next to the piano, it would be great if this can be moved to open up the space for dancing but the furniture was heavy. We had a booking from 1 to 5. The restaurant allowed us to come in early to decorate which was nice. There us a bar also within the function room which can be used by party guests. We could also play our own music but the sound was very poor. When we enquired, we were advised that the sound settings were meant to be for background music only. This is not what we had been told when we first came to view the place, they had actually demonstrated the maximum volume but on the day, it was very low. The speaker crackling at times. We had meals from a set menu so everyone had the same. The starters were lovely with a variety of dips. This was followed by various pieces of meat. The chicken was soft and lovely. I didn’t mind the set meals however, I can imagine the selection would be limited for those who prefer to have something different. In summary, this is a nice setting but it’s a shame about the sound quality."

We moved to the area a few months ago and this is now a firm favourite spot for food. Drinks are great too! Lamb chops are hands down the best I’ve had!

Outstanding experience. Our appetizers and entrees were all incredibly tasty, with excellent service and atmosphere. We also enjoyed some delicious cocktails in the upstairs bar.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved the ambiance and decorations. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the champagne bar on the upper floor. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

My family brought me here for my birthday last month and I really enjoyed my experience. I met with friend to catch up suggesting we go to the Fat Turk, my friend was unaware of the Fat Turk and enjoyed his experience greatly.

The Fat Turk Brentwood has plenty parking and a warm welcome. The service is excellent. The starters were enjoyable and my main course was excellent. My friends had a lamb kofta which they both felt was a bit greasy. We will be back Voir le carte

We came for dinner the other evening after not visiting for a few years and it was nice but I must admit I was pretty disappointed with the atmosphere and the food. I don't think the value for money is there. I do feel, in my opinion, there are other Turkish restaurants that offer a better experience and quality for the cost.

I cannot thank enough Andrea, Emma the team for making our special day just that !!! Our guests were WOWED with the Food, Service and ambience of The Fat Turk, for most it was there first visit. We held our reception within the main restaurant as I love lots of light, having the tables dressed with balloons and flowers etc just made it all so magical. Food as always Top Notch, and nothing was too much trouble. A special Thank you to Emma for staying levelheaded and very helpful regardless of the amount of emails back and forth. Highly recommend The Fat Turk !!!!
