Good food and a great place to sit outside in the sunshine. Definitely missing some decent ale and craft beer though. Can’t believe they don’t offer this in today’s market!

I visited the restaurant today, and the staff were really friendly. It had been a while since I had a meal there, and I was pleasantly surprised. The prices are excellent, and the ambiance is beautiful. I highly recommend it!

Had a fantastic meal at the Eagle never disappoints on all counts. I'm coeliac and mentioned this when I booked. There was a gluten free menu already waiting when we were shown to our table. Last night, my family and I had a wonderful dining experience. As a picky vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by my custom salad—it was delicious! Lovely quaint pub. Food was really good. There were 14 of us eating the food came out piping hot. Bar staff very nice, friendly. Would recommend. We chose The Eagle at Barrow for our family to get together to celebrate my birthday...all mains 2 steaks,salmon,fish and chips cheese n onion pie and sausage and mash and a kids pizza all arrived together and all the feedback was positive. I Ordered the dry-aged ribeye which was fantastic. Unfortunately my partner is a vegetarian and the reduced menu meant all bar one of the vegetarian mains wasn't on the menu. The staff were very accommodating however and provided an alternative vegetarian platter which was reasonably priced, even if some of the elements were a little bland. Overall a great meal, just a shame more vegetarian options weren't included on the reduced menu. Voir le carte
