Had the Christmas lunch! It was all beautifully cooked and presented, although the gravy a bit thin , last years was so good, the pudding was extremely tasty and the custard , just the right amount and light but tasty

The food was enjoyable, and the staff was very friendly. However, the dining room does appear somewhat worn, and considering it positions itself as a more upscale restaurant, I would have expected a nicely set table with a tablecloth. Voir le carte

A beautiful venue with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly and professional staff. We were a little bit disappointed by the food. We both had steaks which were nice, but the chips let the meal down a little and the sauces were not great to be honest. We would certainly go back and try another dish in the future however.

On Tuesday, January 3rd, we had a delightful lunch at The Poet's House to celebrate my partner's birthday. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The dining room is tastefully decorated—modern yet simple, creating a cozy atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the portion sizes were just right. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
