Darfield Sizzling Grill

went to support a friend and his family with there taekwondo classes, it was brilliant!

we have been a couple of times as entertainers we really like, and we know many who go back every year. great venue for a party!

Me and my wife go to The Darfield occasionally for our Sunday dinner and the food is fantastic. It is very good value for money and the portions are massive. The staff are friendly too. The Darfield is a nice little pub and well worth a visit. Voir le carte

We decided to try this restaurant for dinner tonight and it turned out to be a wonderful hidden gem. The owner was very welcoming and the food was excellent. I ordered moussaka and my husband had stifado, both served with lemon potatoes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

lovely Pub where I visited with friends while staying with them. Service was prompt and friendly. It was lovely and even had a little chat with the local drunk. The day was beautiful so I was sat outside in the beer garden and for those with children there is even a small play area. Well worth a visit when in Darfield

We slipped through to Darfield for the wedding of some close friends, the venue itself was very nice, the service and staff were friendly. The meal was a little protracted as it took about 40 minutes to serve the first to the last of 24 meals. Maybe chef michael was on a go slow that afternoon. When it came to desserts the waiter came out and said we only have 4 instead of 5 trifles as I have just dropped one The evening reception was a lot better, the buffet was plentiful. Good pub priced drinks plus a good selection, 4 shots for £5 so no complaints there then. Voir le carte

We made a reservation for a lunch for 28 members of the Amenity Society seven weeks in advance. Each of us had chosen our meal from the menu beforehand. We were greeted politely by a staff member and seated at 12:30pm. The food was satisfactory, but the service was terrible. There was only one waitress serving all 28 of us. By 2:40pm, we had to leave for another appointment and some members had not yet received their dessert. The waitress seemed to be working hard, but was not supported by the management. It was a missed opportunity to ensure that our group would return in the future.

After hearing positive reviews, I went to this restaurant with my elderly mother. We were a bit confused as there were no menus provided, so when asked for our order at the bar, we were unsure of what to choose. As a result, we noticed that others who arrived after us received their food before us. The food was decent, but it took a long time to arrive, especially considering it was Sunday lunch with a limited menu. The atmosphere also felt exclusive and unwelcoming. While the food was satisfactory once it arrived, we are unsure if we would return. However, it was evident that the restaurant had regular customers.

My daughter had her wedding reception here afternoon and night she spoke to Jordan and went through everything with him from the room decorating to the afternoon food and the evening buffet and he certainly didn't disappoint the room looked amazing 100% professional the hot buffet was beautiful all the meats were tender and the best roast potatoes I've tasted all the guests commented on how lovely it was. When they brought out the evening buffet again we wasnt disappointed the choice of sandwiches was unreal and they did a beautiful seafood platter along with the usual sausage rolls pork pie they also did cakes and plenty of fruit plus lots more choices all beautiful again.
