"We booked the Dapple Grey last minute, half hour before arrival as our hotel restaurant was closed but boy were we glad we did! By far the best Marston’s we have ever ate in the food looked like the menu photos which is always a massive plus and the staff were friendly and understanding of my son’s quirky taste in food We had a lovely table where we could enjoy a family meal, lovely food and drinks, not a single bit was wasted (2 adults and 3 children so that’s unheard of in our house). This will be our regular when we do the 4 hour trip to Alton Towers every year now! Thank you!! X"

We visited the Dapple Grey yesterday, not for the first time, what a wonderful pub it is. Great food and beers on. Mark the manager goes above and beyond and always consistent in his service as well as all the staff there , we shall return soon! Many thanks!

Had a very enjoyable visit last night to the Dapple . Hadn’t been for a long while but was really impressed We had 4 burger meals that were 1st class we all loved them Along with the drinks served by friendly still we were really satisfied Thankyou Dapple for a nice evening

A great deal of care and thought went in to my food allergies and very well thought out including the oil used to cook other foods that contained foods with my allergies. My sister, mum and I visited the Dapple Grey for lunch yesterday and the food and service was great!! My mum is gluten intolerant and they have plenty of gluten free options on the menu. I can highly recommend the gammon, it had a gorgeous flame grilled flavour and the chips, egg and pineapple were also really nice we will definitely be visiting again to try something else off the menu.

Came for a family meal , ordered via the app.Staff came and checked order was correct before making which I thought was a good idea .We sat in the family area which provided games etc to keep kids busy while waiting , this is a fantastic idea !! We had a few games of connect 4 .Food and drinks arrived promptly and was really nice , we even ordered puddings ! Would return if in the area again.
