"My husband and I were staying at an Airbnb in Claverdon and thought we would try out local pub. Lovely lady behind the bar. Good choice of ales and cider. We only called in for drinks, but all staff were friendly. Quaint interior. Lovely pub dog, who came and sat on bench seat near us. The following evening, we went back for another drink before retiring after a long day out. Sat in the other room in the pub, again faultless service and drinks. Highly recommend. Lovely place. We much preferred it to the other pub down the road, as the Red Lion, had seemed a little sterile and cold on atmosphere."

A nice country pub. I sat in the garden with my dog to enjoy a nice pint of beer that was not over priced. Also had a bowl of chunky chips and a very generous portion £3

Booked a table for 6pm this evening and to stay in our camper in the car park Arrived this afternoon A sign saying kitchen closed and the car park where we told to stay was a dump full of old furniture No call to say the kitchen was closed

We popped in here on route back to Birmingham for some food. The food was great, the staff were amazing and coco the dog was a bonus addition. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome. We will be back on our next visit from New Zealand

The experience was fabulous, the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, the food was incredible, reasonably priced and really lovely. Super place, which we have not visited before and we only live in Wootton Wawen, but we will definitely be going back. 5

My first visit to a pub I drive past on my commute. Abundant parking, good beers, a friendly atmosphere and rugby on the TV. The food looked great, too. We’ll have to go back and try that. The bicycles and plaque on the wall of the adjacent building were interesting, too.
