"I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of vegan options at The Country Table Café, a traditional British café located in an unexpected place. While the menu may not be the most exciting, it does offer options like sandwiches and jacket potatoes for a quick bite to eat. During my visit, I tried a jacket potato with vegetable chilli which was decent, although it lacked a bit of flavor and spice. If I find myself in Newton Abbot again, I would consider returning to The Country Table Café, although I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try the vegan cake or flapjack they had available, but I think stopping by for tea/coffee (with soya milk, of course) and cake may be a better choice over visiting for lunch."

good choice of vegan options for a traditional market town café. I have a takeaway sandwich (hummus and avocado) for a picnic dinner. made to order and it came with a beautiful small pot of bysaleat!

This charming local cafe has a delightful ambiance, offers a comprehensive vegan menu, and has exceptionally friendly staff! It was the ideal spot to bring my grandmother, who is also gluten intolerant and requires a gluten-free menu.

the butternut quash and bean casserole contained animal stock!? Although this article was not on the vegan menu, it was one of the tage specials, but come on folks! I went for the middle sea plate (educated), which was pleasant enough.

The cafe in this traditional market town offers a decent selection of vegan dishes. I opted for a takeaway sandwich with hummus and avocado for my picnic lunch. It was freshly made and came with a small side salad, which was a nice touch.
