Weakest tea possible, cheapest bread possible and it seems these people have never heard of butter, let alone seen it or used it, wartime marg only me thinks so I would seriously avoid thier outside catering!

My husband, who has celiac disease, enjoys the gluten-free breakfast at this restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. The food and cakes are delicious. We frequently stop in for a meal here.

Now it has to be said the cake that Rose makes freshly every day is excellent. The only issue is there is to many options for one person to try, therefore, you have to keep popping back to try another, I guess there are worse problems to have

Just popped in for a coffee but couldn't resist the homemade cake! Both were terrific and excellent value! Always like to give our custom to local business instead of the national chains! This one is well worth a visit and obviously well used by locals which is always a good sign!

I frequent this restaurant often, especially for lunch. The service and staff are excellent and very friendly. The menu is diverse and prices are competitive. I had a simple jacket potato while my wife enjoyed a bacon sandwich. Both dishes were excellent, and we finished our meal with a delicious piece of pie. This is a cafe that we have used many times over the years. We went in for lunch prior to taking our youngest to pre-school. The staff were very polite, helpful and welcoming. We ordered and were served relatively quickly. The food was tasty and all plates were cleared, including the one of our 3 year old. The price was very reasonable for the amount you get.It is a small cafe and does have limitations in regards to space and access for those with mobility issues or children in pushchairs

The Country Crust has just had a makeover with lovely new decor, a bright uplifting atmosphere and a revised and improved menu but still at great and barely increased prices and with all our old favourites on there. The food is still excellent quality and value and Rose and Charles are always welcoming and accommodating. Not many places have such good homemade food and cakes. We had a couple of the new range of paninis and new teas and then a slice of baked cheesecake with cherry compote best we have had for ages!

Since Rose and Charles took over in December 2017, the already good quality has got even better. They are very friendly and obliging and are making this the up and coming cafe in Hinckley. We have been going in regularly for a few years and love the food, friendliness and cosiness of the cafe. The food is freshly made to order. The breakfasts, cakes and paninis (especially sweet chilli chicken and bacon, cheese and mushroom so tasty! taste delicious. The range of food and drink on offer is very good for a place this size . Rose and Charles are gradually raising the bar without losing the excellent value. We recommend this place highly. Voir le carte
