The Coffee Pot - Menu

Great coffee, excellent service, and a good choice of food options for brunch/lunch/light bites. Without doubt one of the best cafes in the town.

Visited today for a panini and a cupped made to feel very welcome and lovely food and served with a smile even thought extremely busy. We have visited many time before and also made feel welcomed.

I visited The Coffee Pot again yesterday and it remains the best place to have lunch. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable and the food is always warm and delicious.

Top quality food for a very reasonable price. We visited May 2022 and the man behind the counter made the effort to chat with us and give recommendations of what to do in the area. Absolutely recommend the brie, cranberry, chicken and bacon BLT. Also make a note to try the 'Amico ' coffee, it is absolutely delicious

I was only looking for a coffee and maybe a bacon sandwich when Brian (the owner and a great guy) suggested that I try the Breakfast Bagel. Wow! I was not disappointed. The presentation was beautiful and not greasy at all. It had thick cut bacon, poached eggs, mushrooms, and two hash browns. It was really tasty and great value for money. Do yourself a favor and stop by to try one. Thanks Brian, I will definitely be back.

Tucked just off the main street this is a great spot. Recommended by coach it has a chicken, bacon, brie and cranberry club sandwich you cannot beat. You will also struggle to eat for the rest of the day. Well priced for the quality and portions. Lovely courtyard at the rear and sunny tables out the front. Appeared dog friendly. My only gripe was that the crumble cake had sold put before I had chance to order a takeaway box !!!!

My husband and I decided to visit Abergavenny today (from Cardiff) and happened to stop by this cafe to see if it was worth getting a drink and a bite to eat. The man working behind the counter warmly welcomed us and informed us about all the tasty cakes they had on display. My husband decided to try one of the cakes, while I opted for a toasted sandwich with fries. The food was delicious, but it was the efficient and friendly service that really impressed us. We will definitely be returning to The Coffee Pot when we are in the area.

Why is it that you only find gems like this at the end of your holiday rather than being able to enjoy everything the whole time you’re there. After a very, very long walk in the morning we stopped in Abergavenny late afternoon and wandered down a little street and stopped for a tea and coffee. My tea was lovely and my husband, who’s a massive coffee snob, had a really good coffee. We got there late in the day but we’re not rushed to finish our drinks at all and git chatting to the staff. Visited this coffee shop in August 2022 whilst out shopping in Abergavenny. Hadn't read reviews prior to our visit but can understand why there are so many 5* reviews. Initially, the cafe appeared dated in decor, we were unsure whether to stay and therefore asked for a table outside in the courtyard which equally appeared to need a makeover. However, please do not let that put you off a visit.
