"The welcome was warm and our pre-request for a quieter table had accommodated. Unfortunately our wait between starter and main course was not acceptable (nearly 30 mins). We were told as our starter plates were being cleared that mains would be right along. Nobody let us know differently and I had to track down a server to ask what was going on. They were really busy, but it was a Saturday so I’m sure that’s not unusual. No apology or deduction from the bill. I would go back as long I don’t have other plans, and not with elderly parents who can’t do such a long lunch."

Decent pub for a Sunday lunch. Food and service could be improved slightly, but the dining room is a nice place to spend time with friends or family.

Great location, atmosphere and decor. The food was was wonderful and Rosie was amazing she provided an excellent service. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back.

Fab situation on a sunny day with sunny tables on the footpath. Staff initially a bit slow at reception but service at bar was good and the rest of the service was great. Extensive wine list and good white burgundy for £40. Food great and all in all a good experience Voir le carte

On top of its game. Exquisite squid starter beautifully presented and a pan fried hake dish par excellence. My daughter liked her Caesar salad with charred broccoli and the mushroom risotto was excellent. Nice atmosphere and always easy to get a lunch table before a Brentford match…as I regularly do!

It’s a nice pub overall and nice Sunday atmosphere. I think Sunday menu can be improved we had a member who usually likes fish and there was no fish main course option which is pretty standard these days. Also the Sunday roast was ok I wouldn’t go back for it I have definitely had way better. I think the beef can be improved. Thank You
