"This review is based on my first and last visit to this pub. The Inside and garden were really nice,The food was awful and the friendliness of the staff were not far behind. Here goes! Chicken wings sent back as over cooked and ready hard. No apology just a miserable scowl from the waitress Mediterranean linguine sauce out of a jar, no vegetables except one thin slice of courgette, two cherry tomatoes cut in half and four small revolting pieces of something that doesn't even taste like cheese. Ham egg and chips two over cooked eggs, cheap round piece of ham off colour. Puddings were actually OK. My nhs discount was declined as we ordered off a set menu. I've not had an issue anywhere else before. In hindsight I regret not complaining but I really don't think they would be bothered. I put it down to a bad experience and left, leaving most of our food uneaten. We went because the reviews looked good. I've now looked back on them, it's obvious a lot of these are set up. Some have made reviews three or four times some have never reviewed anywhere else. There is a trend of people only making one review, guess what! They have also not made any more reviews for other places. I would not recommend The Burnt Post to anyone and I will definitely not be returning"

We had a sirloin steak and chicken wings. Steak cooked to perfection. Beef dripping gravy is lovely. Staff warm and friendly. So glad it's my local.

I found this here for lunch to be an occult place, nothing special..tried fish n chips found them to be too oily and expensive. not sure if I'm going back.

This is a fantastic pub with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The staff is amazing and we love our local! Plus, the lack of a fireplace doesn't stop us from enjoying it.

Another lovely meal at the Burnt Post for my daughters birthday. Food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. Very family friendly and helpful staff team. We will be back!

Love this place so glad it’s our local! Great choice of food and desserts and also cocktails. Child friendly and always a warm welcome. Great pub quiz on a Sunday too. I can highly recommend the chargrilled veg linguini! It’s advisable to book if it’s a Friday or Saturday though as it can get really busy. Nice atmosphere.

I recently dined at a restaurant with a group of thirty people, where we had pre-booked our meals in advance. Despite arriving early as instructed, our food did not arrive until an hour after our reservation time. The meals were served separately, causing some guests to finish before others even received their food. There were delays in clearing plates and serving desserts, resulting in a guest having to leave early for a doctor's appointment. This experience was disappointing, especially considering that the restaurant is supposed to specialize in food service.
