The food was good but not exceptional, earning a rating of 3 out of 5. The service was polite and adequate, also meriting a score of 3. However, the atmosphere stood out, receiving a solid 4. It created a pleasant environment for dining, making it an enjoyable experience overall.

Called in to have a look at the menu and ended up staying for a bite to eat. Tried to order via the app but a bit confusing. Waitress rescued us and sorted our order. Food arrived before the drinks. The kitchen is open so you can see food being prepared and cooked. Ordered 2 for £18... gammon scampi. I had the gammon with egg. A decent size piece of gammon and egg cooked perfectly. We went out for dinner and had to wait 10 minutes to be seated, even though we had a reservation. After finishing our main course, we were ignored four times by the waitstaff, who did not clear our plates or take our dessert order. After waiting for 45 minutes, we decided to give up and just paid the bill. Our three children were very disappointed. We spent over £100, and it could have been more, but the service was awful, and the attitudes of the waitstaff were not pleasant. Service: Dine in.

Just had a week's holiday and the only place to get something to eat was the brigghouse,the food started off OK had the hunters chicken when we got there which was nice then on Sunday had the roast turkey there could of been abit more meat for the price but it was nice,the chargrilled chicken and bacon burger was really nice,breakfast OK but on the Friday had the hunters chicken again and chips where abit well done this time,the staff are really friendly and u can have a chat with them. We waited over 40 minutes for our desserts. We chased this up and the staff brought them out 6 minutes after chasing. We politely requested to have some money off the bill due to the huge wait. The Manager on shift on evening of 2nd September told us the kitchen had not received the order. We explained that we were customers that hated to complain, but we 100% made the order. We could not remember who served as as there were several waitresses and waiters running around the place, but requested that thinking about 'customer first ' they took what we were saying in good faith.
