Great bar for traditional and modern beers. I’m coeliac and they’ve always got at least one GF beer on tap. Awesome loaded chips, just note, not on a Monday

Very busy pub, mainly because it sells a fantastic array of real ales. Rugby was on whilst i was here and the vibe was great. It was my first time here so don't feel fully qualified to comment on the venue. Going back tomorrow to listen to a band! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

fantastic pub. large selection available at ale. dogs are allowed and the loaded chips that they can buy are there to die! in summer they can sit outside on the front razing, or in the beer garden in the back that is beautiful. strongly recommended as having to visit pub when they are looking to offer everything nr3! Fair walk out of the city centre (25-30 mins) with a vast range of cask and keg beer offerings Sadly was served a pint that was clearly well past its best only to be told “its meant to look like that” (it isn’t) Probably wouldn’t rush back, but worth a visit if you’re into your local real ale Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

The food menu features hearty options like loaded chips and burgers. There is plenty of space both in the front and back of the pub. They currently provide table service and accept tickets.

This is an award-winning pub that everyone should visit at least once. They offer a fantastic selection of beverages, along with great options for wine and spirits. You'll find a variety of local brews, including their own creations. Be sure to try their amazing cheese plates, which can be ordered in advance, and you can reserve a large table for rugby games.
