"our first visit was a joy. the pub has a warm cozy rustic feeling, and was somewhere I felt that I could randomly visit friends and family or go a bit dressy at a special occasion and have a romantic meal. the food was freshly cooked to order with a lot of choice plus specials, with the size of the portion is very generous for the appropriate prices. we will definitely visit again."

Been coming here for 20 odd years.. changed a lot.. but the hotel has always been good. Rooms good rate.. clean and modern. Decor nice.. food and beer good. Great pub :

first class did not book and was seated straight away staff are brilliant, and the food well it was superb all round top quality establishment will be back without a shadow

Everything was amazing—the food, the staff, and the service. This was my third visit, and I haven't been disappointed yet. I highly recommend it to everyone. (The Christmas menu also looks fantastic!)

This is our favorite restaurant for a meal. The home-cooked dishes are always delightful, and there is a wide variety of options on the menu. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, complemented by the friendly staff.

Just spent the night at Bowes Incline and cannot fault it. We had a newly refurbished room which was spotless. Mattress was really comfortable, only a 4’6” bed which felt small because ours is 6’. We went as a party of 6, all had a different main meal in the restaurant, the food was excellent, thank you.

Went for sunday lunch seated straight away. Lovely relaxed atmosphere You order from the bar and service again was quick I had standard roast beef which arrived within 10 mins of ordering, all freshly cooked vegetables carrots peas and cabbage home cooked yorkshire pudding Lovely gravy too Would recommend to friends and family Voir le carte
