The Boathouse - Carte

My partner and I stayed at The Boathouse for a few days and really enjoyed the experience. Our room was beautiful with a balcony and gorgeous view of the river. Shannon is a dream and couldn't have been more helpful. The atmosphere was so relaxed and friendly . Loved it and hopefully we'll go back again.

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch this afternoon. The service was great, they had extra staff so it was table service which was prompt and attentive throughout. Food was fantastic, the roast was delicious. View was delightful, it was nice watching the rowers quietly glide up and down the river as you had your lunch.

Nice location by the canal. Good views of the canal and nearby bridge. You can rent canoes from here too. Didn’t eat but the food looked good. There’s quite a lot of seating and plenty of places to sit on the grass if not. Car park was almost full when I visited, however there’s a park and ride almost next door so parking shouldn’t be a problem. Voir le carte

We visited this restaurant twice at the start of our relaxing vacation, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was fantastic, and the food was beautiful. We loved having an early breakfast while enjoying the stunning view from our room, which was simply perfect. The balcony was amazing too. Thank you for making our stay so special!

We passed by this restaurant several times while traveling, but we never stopped. This time, while we were away for Christmas, we decided to take the opportunity to dine there for our Christmas dinner. We were not disappointed! The venue was beautiful with great views. The food was very well prepared and served. I’d like to commend the staff who were working that day; despite the busy holiday season, they were cheerful, engaging in conversation, and very helpful when we asked for recommendations on places to visit. They truly contributed to a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you so much!

We have just spent two nights in this beautiful Hotel, greeted by friendly staff, room was lovely a bit quirky but loved that. Had a meal in restaurant on first night, was a bit disappointed that the two meals we were looking forward to weren't available but enjoyed our second choice, this arrived very quickly and very well cooked. Breakfast was excellent, only complaint is that there was an unpleasant smell in bathroom, we did mention it to the staff on departure and they did seem aware of problem but thought it had been sorted. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, featuring a cozy log burner that adds to the ambiance. Although we visited in the evening and couldn't fully appreciate the view of the river, it still created a lovely atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. They offer a separate vegan menu with a wide variety of options for all courses. We tried the crushed burger and spaghetti, followed by chocolate orange torte and tropical fruits. While the vegan dishes weren't the best we've ever had, they were still quite delicious. The desserts were fantastic! I would definitely visit again.

An absolutely amazing place to stay, eat and drink. Shannon was exemplary; very professional and friendly. My room was gorgeous, with a copy of Wind in the Willows, and a Swallows and Amazon's map on the wall. The shower was excellent and the bed amazingly comfortable. The restaurant bar and terrace garden is beautifully presented, with a great range of drinks, and with excellent food. The breakfast was perfect. Excellent friendly and knowledgeable service from all staff. My mind has gone blank, but I think his name was Ben behind the bar. A great employee. The river views are wonderful. Would highly recommend staying here, or just going for a meal or a drink. I will definitely be back. Well...

booked for an overnight in bath. with the beautiful weather the view of the river was breathtaking. we were booked by holly, very friendly helpful (reach us great directions for a river to foot in a bath.) we arrived at the afternoon and have let ourselves in to dinner in the pub in the ground floor in our beautiful room. the vegan burger was very nice with the skin on chips. we also had the double bacon cheeseburger, very tasty. for dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding for the vegan option that we went with was deeply filled apple cake with vanilla ice cream. we have also mistakenly ordered the vegan salted caramel ice cream on the side that was beautiful (butterscotch angele joy taste,...
