for a caffe with a wonderful view they have a surprisingly wide menu. 8 of us ate and there were no complaints from anyone. they got my beverage order wrong, but it was quickly fixed.

Great little find. Lovely restaurant and staff with a stunning view of the marina! Generous portions and delicious food! Lots of outside tables and spaces to park. They were happy to alter my dish too from mushy peas to a yummy salad!

I went to The Boot That Rocks for the second time today. It is a lovely restaurant with a clean and inviting atmosphere, and the staff are very friendly. I tried the fish and chips this time, and while it was a tasty meal, the service wasn't as great as my last visit. Nevertheless, I would be happy to visit again in the future. Voir le carte

I didn't make a reservation but still managed to get a table at this restaurant. The food was delicious and even the children finished their plates, which rarely happens! The location at the marina is great with fantastic options for both eating and drinking. There are plenty of seats both inside and outside. I would definitely recommend dining here.

Amazing vibe for such an out of the way place. Odd parking system that needs explaining but they will give you a QRcode to scan when you leave. I'm still not sure if I needed to with a Blue badge but we did it just in case. Only had a drink rather than food but it was an amazing view across the harbour watching the tug boats bring in the large ships.

On the day of our 10th anniversary on the island of Portland, we found ourselves on the way back to South-East Devon. After a long journey, a visit to the lighthouse and a walk along the coast, we were in need of a drink and some food. We decided to dine at The Boat That Rocks and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Despite some negative reviews, I personally loved their 10 oz burger and my companion enjoyed her chili con carne. The staff was extremely friendly, checking on us multiple times to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, even though we were seated at a large and busy table.
