Excellent food in fact THE best Sunday roast in the area. Piping hot food, beef cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious. Attentive staff. Recommend.

Beautiful venison stew, good portion size, great service. Rest of family had lovely meals too. All empty plates. Thank you. Would not hesitate recommending at all.

Went for a Christmas meal with the family to The Black Horse in the week before Christmas. Really enjoyable time had by all. The service and atmosphere at this pub are fantastic. Stewart and Rachel are attentive hosts. The menu gave a good range of options, for both adults and kids and we particularly enjoyed the delicious desserts. Highly recommended. We'll be back! Best Sunday roast in the area! We moved to Lincolnshire from south only 7 months ago and tried many places in the area for good Sunday roast. The food is beautiful quality and absolutely delicious (and my partner can be quite fussy about his beef) , reasonably priced, the staff and owners very lovely and attentive plus place is cozy. We also tried variety of other meals and every singled one of them was delicious

Called in this evening with friends for an early dinner. We had a lovely meal and the service was friendly and attentive. They have some South African dishes on the menu and I tried a beef and lamb stew Potgee? Porjee? Whatever it was called it was absolutely delicious. The hanging kebabs and sticky toffee pudding were great as well. The bill was very reasonable and the place was full when we left. Always a good sign.

We went on Friday night for a meal which was first class, we all had something different, the mussels were excellent, the cobbler was so tasty, the ribs and wings were perfect and the South African stew was fantastic, the food here never disappoints , the menu is varied so you don’t get bored, dessert was Mmmmmmm the biscoff cheese cake was so yummy Well done to Stewart and Rachel for a well run pub We will definitely eat here on a regular basis Voir le carte

This place has new management. Hands on couple makes it family friendly and unique. Atmosphere is conducive to any occasion. Patrons are hands on, frirndly and ultimstely professional. Thst it is frequented by the locals makes it stand out. Cant wait for the food to enhance its obvious success. Hope it is authentic, American themed food ie buffalo wings, hamburgers, etc. Cant wait . You deserve great success as you ard a couple who are people centred.

An impromptu visit resulted in one of the best Sunday roasts in the area Whilst out walking the dog we popped in for coffee but we’re in awe of the Sunday roast being served We asked if they could fit us in and the were only to happy to find a spot for us We both had the lamb which was cooked to perfection as was the veg. We both had desert to and the mango and pomegranate crumble is to die for The bar staff were very helpful And friendly too with all needs being catered for A credit to Stuart and Rachel

Four of us booked for Sunday lunch. When we arrived there was no evidence of our booking except the confirmation email the pub had sent the previous week. Unsettling but there was room for us so no great problem. We sat down and sat, and sat for some time until we had to flag down one of the servers to take a drinks order. The menu had a few nice quirks like a sosatie stater which included pieces of boerewors sausage. Great. The main course was a choice of roasts, all of which were tasty and plentiful.
