Can not fault the good food and service in this pub, I have tried many different restaurants and pubs and always return here by far the best Sunday lunch in the area.

only had Sunday afternoon, but it was excellent if you were starving trying to get the 3 meat lunch superb mother just try 3 meats if you were very hungry otherwise just a normal get much

sat on Sunday afternoon and we have everything and the meat was so delicious and melted in the mouth. the waitress asked my mammoth if she had a little lazy as the normal lunches are big, my mam had the little lazy. And she couldn't finish it. I guess they're back. Voir le carte

We have been here a few times for parties we love it! Steve the owner is fabulous and the food.....where do I start, I don't think I can justify how nice it is you just have to try it!! Will definitely be trying the...steaks one time Worth a visit you won't be disappointed

Enjoyed a lovely tea and a beer after work, got 2 steaks for £15 in total and they were delicious. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a separate bar and dining area. Definitely recommend giving it a try, but make sure to have cash on hand as they don't accept card payments. Don't let that deter you, give it a go!

We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and they were able to accommodate us at a table for two. Having passed it many times before, we decided to call into The Black Horse at Barlow Village for a Sunday lunch and I'm so glad we did. I am a director for older people and in the last 4 years the inhabitants have taken for their Christmas dinner here and never escaped, they all love it and will return this year. I think it was £15 a head for 3 course...lunch,everything is cooked to home and fresh and worth every penny,prawn cocktails will get her salat in it, but also a side salad with it that is too much can be cut off on the salat and put a bit more sauce on it. I booked a table for 10 people for Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. Some family members were delayed due to the closure of a bridge, but when I called the restaurant to inform them, it was not a problem. As we arrived one by one, we found a lovely table set and ready for us, and the waitresses were polite, friendly, and accommodating.
