My son partner had their wedding here for 80 guests. Sam her team were amazing. They were professional and ensured everything ran smoothly. The food was plentiful, tasty, and displayed with care wonderful. The two grooms guests were able to relax and everyone had a wonderful day. Team Bell you could not have improved on anything. Thank you for all your hard work smiles.

Based on the reviews, we decided to visit this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The food was of a high standard, which explained why they were fully booked well in advance. Even though we hadn't made a reservation, they still managed to accommodate us. The service was excellent and it was clear that they truly cared about ensuring a positive experience for their customers.

As a family of six, we took our grandchild there for Sunday morning breakfast with Santa. We enjoyed a delightful full English breakfast, crayons and colouring sheets to entertain the children at the table and a visit to each table by Santa then a chance for photos with Santa by the Christmas tree. Myself, husband and inlaws visited with dog, booked a table in advance and took to quiet corner, we were told food would take up to 40mins to arrive which we were happy to wait but actually it came after 20mins max, all food was piping hot and fresh, our dog was given a ice cream whilst waiting which he loved! Food, service and atmosphere was great, we ended the night having a drink under heated patio area, lovely night lovely service lovely surroundings... thanks, we will definitely return and recommend to all

We booked ourselves in for a Christmas dinner whilst visiting the local area. Really weren't disappointed. The turkey on the Christmas dinners was cooked perfectly. I opted for the Turkey and Ham Hock pie as an alternative. It was just right, in fact the tenderstem broccoli was probably the best I have tasted, not too hard and not too soft. They had dairy free ice cream for those who have diary allegeries which is always appreciated. The staff were excellent especially as they were very busy. Thoroughly recommend, though book ahead.

Visited today at around 2pm. To be told the whole pub was closed due to a wedding party taking over the whole pub! Plenty of room to serve local people in a seperate area. Obviously the pub has gone for money..over local loyal customers! Assistant manager quite rude and dismissive when I asked why I cannot be served a drink! Drink overpriced anyway a neck oil £6.50 a pint ridiculous. Will not be returning , let’s hope you have many more wedding party’s that close the pub as your are going to need them! We love our local pub simply because it’s down to the people in charge the team involved that have turned it back into a family dog friendly true pub, the staff are great, everyone of them, they try to do their very best for anyone that comes through the door, I don’t think you can fault that. Now I don’t have a problem if anyone asks me or my husband where to go for food, family trusted four legged friends, my favourite is the Gammon it’s so succulent. The Bell Shottery is our go to pub as long the present team they know who they are stay are the pub is in great hands it will continue to make my husband myself very happy. Can't get out much due to health issues these days but I've recently been here 3 or 4 times over the past couple of months or so for a lunchtime meet up with ex-work colleagues. Lovely pub with lovely bar staff and although I haven't actually eaten there myself my friends have. Food looks good and they've all enjoyed it, which for one in particular is a compliment in itself! However a table had been booked for yesterday lunchtime, the 12th, and the place was rammed from the get go after I arrived just after 12 with all tables booked. No complaints there but I just felt so sorry for the girl behind the bar who was on her own (not sure if she was a member of staff or the manager? . Anyway, she...

Eating out is a treat these days and so we (husband and wife) are careful about when and where we choose to eat out. The Bell at Shottery is one of the very few places where we like to go as we know we will be served good food. It was earlier this year that we went to The Bell for afternoon tea and, although we have been back since then for a midweek meal or Sunday dinner, we have looked forward having afternoon tea here again. The afternoon tea we had previously was fabulous and we did wonder if we would enjoy the same experience. We are pleased to say that our afternoon tea was excellent once again.
