"Very underwhelming experience for how much it cost We were seated very quickly and then drinks were ordered and brought to us quickly but then it went downhill. We were sat for ages, around 45 mins before anyone took our food order. And that was because I asked someone if we ordered the food at the bar after about half an hour and they said they'd send someone over, no apology, which then took another 15mins. The food, when it came was OK. But nothing spectacular and I most definitely could have done just as good myself at home. The staff, however, were friendly but when you see them all either standing around doing nothing or just cleaning up plates from tables but not taking anyone's orders who were sat with menu's staring into space then it makes you wander who was in charge allowing that to happen. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid parking lot"

Good Sunday roast and the kids meals were good too. None of us fancied anything from the pudding menu though. Why no pie and custard? Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Sunday Roast

Plenty of nice staff but one very rude blonde waitress let's down the team, been there numerous times so can't be sympathetic and put it down to an off day. Happily found a very good alternative. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Staff were lovely Parking: Refund on parking which was good Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Parking space: Plenty of parking

The little pub is a great venue to gather and watch sports. We enjoyed the Wales vs Argentina RWC2023 although a disappointing result the atmosphere was relaxed and the drinks were readily at hand with friendly staff. Menu prices are steep, so we skipped the meal, but all in all a lovely place to visit. Price per person: £10–20 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips

Kayleigh our hostess was friendly, efficient and attentive and she made sure our order arrived quickly and correctly. The food was excellent! Every item on the fishmongers platter was cooked to perfection. The coriander and mint pea paste with the spot on cooked scallops were delightful. The black pudding with poached egg was also very nice. An experience not to be missed! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice food and friendly staff. Sat in the conservatory this time as it was extremely windy outside. We enjoyed the food, the pie was a smaller portion than last time but still good. Waitress was attentive, and had a good sense of humour. However, I ordered my pie with garden peas and fries, but I got lukewarm mushy peas. Nobody came back to check that the meals were ok, and I was too hungry to mess about waiting. After pudding, we were just left sat for ages without being asked if we wanted anything else or the bill. Note: staff were stood around at this point. I kindly pointed out the food error when paying and was given a not so genuine apology. We will probably come back next time we do th...

"I've been to Dylans in Menai Bridge and always enjoyed it not this time. For the first half of our visit there was a stinging blue haze hanging in the air; the kitchen extractors clearly weren't functioning properly. Fortunately this cleared for the second hour we were there. Now to the service; after taking our drinks orders we waited nearly 15 minutes for them. Later, after staff had passed our empty glasses 20 times, we managed to order some second drinks by catching their attention. The food was the main problem; minuscule starters of crab and Welsh rarebit. My pizza came as a real surprise (as others have mentioned in previous reviews); gone is the thin crusted, well filled pizza of the past. The pizza is now about 20% smaller and my daughter mentioned that it looked like a child's portion. However, the main problem was the total lack of filling; there was a huge gap for at least an inch all round the pizza which was just fluffy dough. There were five tiny mussels on it and when I picked the mussel shells up they were so overcooked the shells turned to carbonised dust. I counted three tiny slices of red chilli. As others have mentioned, I realise the industry is having a hard time the price of the pizzas haven't gone up but the quantity and quality has plummeted and I would rather pay more to enjoy my meal. The pudding order came and was wrong. When the hot cross bun pudding came out it was still only on the wrong side of lukewarm. Don't get me started on the price of a pint of Aspalls £7.25, a price I would expect to pay in London. And before Lisa R replies that they would have replaced a dish, it would have been replaced with a similar disappointing dish....and no one bothered to ask us if everything was OK either during or after the meal anyway."
