"they barged Inn-to our lives and now we love them! Our family spreads quite in the south of the united kingdom of kings and Italians and the barge inn was the suitable place to meet after good reviews of the new property. how true they were! the main staff here was nothing but a joy, and eating (we had the sunday roast) was tasty, filling and very humble. I would say we will return, but this is actually our second visit! if they have not tried this welcoming, friendly pub or their wonderful eating, they try it. Thanks to somerset jim next to the bar that made my day!"

Friendly staff and a roast to die for!! Reasonable prices and great for families (even our 5 kids 8 and under)!! Can't wait until next Sunday to go again!!

Loved the Barge Inn and their food. I had their vegetarian home made sausage and mash, best I have tasted. Lots of places to eat in the garden or along the canal. Will definitely go back

Very well run in mind of Covid restrictions. Looked very safe though because we hadn't booked ended up having two take away coffees. The lady at reception recommended where to go with them and ot was just perfect. Thank you very much. Next time we will book a table in advance. Voir le carte

My family and I went for Sunday dinner at this restaurant. The meal was fantastic, which is rare for us to say about Sunday lunches. The atmosphere was beautiful, clean, and tidy, with lovely staff and customers. The restaurant is also dog-friendly, so we enjoyed watching a cute puppy running around. We give it 5 stars and encourage them to keep up the good work.

What a find! The other pubs nearby were packed (Sunday lunchtime) so we tried The Barge. So glad we did excellent bar service, a great menu choice at reasonable prices and a really nice choice of real ales and ciders. I was driving alas but still had a great meal we had the wild boar with mash, onion gravy and the homemade chicken pie both with fresh vegetables. Both very delicious and filling! I will be back thanks for such a delightful meal.
