We called in on the off chance of booking a meal and the welcome could not have been nicer, we were visiting the area and had seen this restaurant. Although they were fully booked we left our details and they contacted us to say they had a cancellation. We had a wonderful stay, the food, service and general ambiance were all fabulous. Just had a 3 night break stay at 'Cottage in the Woods ' and would like to say a big thank you to Kath and Liam and all the wonderful staff for a most memorable stay. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown to our cottage room, which had all the facilities required plus lots of little extras.Exceptional food and presentation with Ben and his team showing passion commitment and pride in their skills they are truly worthy of the Michelin star status.If you want peace and tranquility, nestled in beautiful grounds and woodland, a place to relax, recharge and indulge then we would highly recommend a stay here.We will definately be returning until then keep safe.Tony Julie Voir le carte
