Absolute bargain for the price we paid. Lovely location within easy reach of many places, although very quiet and remote location of the hotel itself. Staff were friendly, and the room spacious, it just needs a little TLC. My wife and I had our wedding in early September in Hampshire and used the Angel Hotel as a reception venue. Wendy, our wedding coordinator, was exceptionally helpful throughout the whole process, doing everything she could to help us plan for our big day. All of the staff worked tirelessly to accommodate us and our guests, the food was fab, the venue was perfect, and the whole outside area is perfect for taking photos. Highly recommended as a place to celebrate your wedding!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday Carvery at The Angel Hotel. The atmosphere was relaxed and made it perfect for a Sunday afternoon. The star of the show was the meats, tender roast beef and succulent turkey. The portions are generous and the roast potatoes were to die for! The service was warm and we were looked after throughout. Considering the cost of going out these days the carvery was an excellent price of £18. Finished off the meal with sticky toffee pudding which was delicious Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

A Fantastic Stay with Excellent Service and Food I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure everything was just right. The bedrooms were clean, well-appointed, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable—perfect for a great night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the Sunday carvery, which was excellent. The selection of meats—beef, turkey, and gammon—was cooked to perfection. The beef, in particular, was beautifully tender and full of flavor, making it an absolute delight.
