"I had a wonderful dining experience at this family restaurant. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. This was my second visit, and I thoroughly enjoyed my evening. I ordered the sea bass, which was both abundant and flavorful, while my friend had the veal and found it to be excellent. Although it's not the cheapest option, the quality of the food is worth the price. It's also one of the few places open on Sunday evenings along this high street. The staff was helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend it. Ratings: Food: 4, Service: 4, Atmosphere: 4."

Would’ve given no stars but not possible. Frozen seafood with stupid prices and an extremely arrogant owner, the type you see on kitchen nightmares very defensive and massive ego problem. Gordon needs to visit Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We visited this restaurant for the first time today, and it truly is a gem. The ambiance, food, and service were all exceptional. This little Gem was absolutely beautiful, I enjoyed everything about this place! Food was flavourful and authentic, made me feel like I was back in Portugual all over again . Service was excellent I couldn't fault it at all. "We arrived to a very warm, friendly welcome and were seated straight away. The staff wore masks throughout our whole visit and hand sanitiser was available on all the tables. The facilities were all clean. The food arrived to our table in good time, so we did not wait long inbetween ordering and receiving our food. The menu had a very good variety that would suit both people who like mild or spicy food. The portions were very generous and the food was very delicious. The staff gave little extras after our meal: orange slices, coffee liqueur or a tropical juice and chocolate with the bill. It was a lovely evening and the whole family really enjoyed the meal and atmosphere was very friendly and relaxing. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience very nice."

"Maaroni is my local as it is less than a 5-minute walk from me. Not only have I eaten here a countless number of times since it opened, I also get takeaways from here often. Unfortunately, this was the first time I had ever been left feeling very disappointed. To begin with, I was given a bottle of sparkling water with no glass, let alone lemon/ice/straw. Had to ask for a glass I was not going to drink out of a big bottle. It was difficult to explain things to our waitress, especially as we wanted to remove some pizza toppings and add on others; I had to show her the menu with toppings written down so that she could catch the spellings. Moreover, I requested for cacio e pepe, and the waitress confirmed that the chefs would be able to make anything off-menu. I had to explain what the dish was, and showed the waitress the list of ingredients for it. She went back and forth several times to the chef and I, and ultimately said that the kitchen did not have pecorino cheese. I said that that could be substituted for the next best thing, as long as the sauce was creamy, cheesy, buttery and peppery. When the dish arrived, it was a buttery spaghetti with a lump of cheese in the top. At this point, another waitress began to serve our table. Let her know that the cheese should be almost melted in; she took the dish back for it to be re-made which took a long time, by which point we had nearly finished our mains. After our mains we were told that we need to leave within 15 minutes, and we were not given dessert menus nor did we request the bill, it just arrived. I had brought my aunt and uncle to Macaroni for the first time and they were looking forward to dessert. It was highly embarrassing that this option was not even offered, and even more embarrassing that we were rushed off the table. There were 5 of us, 1hr 45mins is not enough time for a relaxed 3-course meal. If the restaurant is unable to honour a 3-course meal for 5 people, they should not confirm the booking."

"Due to a technology malfunction our meal took 40 minutes to arrive. It would have been good PR to have at least offered a complimentary drink or dessert. The food was fine although I would not have ordered the cauliflower cheese if I had known it was very light on the cheese sauce. The table behind had two dogs which created more noise than is really acceptable. I have eaten there several times and have not had a bad experience before. Hopefully it was just a blip and I would probably go back there again."
