"the man behind the bar was very helpful, advised by availability and that he would get us a table within 40 minutes. we enjoyed a walk to the park where we enjoyed a dae play, then it went further about the fantastic historical pond (check the history of this beckens, it is very fascinating that we back to thatchers needle at the right time. with the two adult and our four children we enjoyed the hello-fried and baked mushrooms as a partner. for the net we enjoyed two of the Rindbraten dinner, a cheeseburger meal and three children's dishes. these were presented and served very well by the servedeam – like our drinks and desserts (to tempt!) everything in all, a great meal with excellent service, enjoyed by all six of our family. the bark was absolutely horrific! boiled to perfection. many thanks; we will definitely visit again soon. most six smile reviews from us"

Nice pub with lots of seating. Meal was very good, with a wide range of main meals and sides, good starters and desserts too. Price seemed a little bit high, but not unreasonably so. Generally good and friendly service too.

This is a fantastic spot for lunch! We enjoyed our meal outside in the sun, and there’s a small play area for the kids that overlooks a large playground. The food was incredible; the cod was outstanding, and the chicken kebab was also delicious.

It's been a while since I visited The Thatchers, but my friend and I had a great time. We enjoyed the steak and Prosecco, and finished the evening with some delicious espresso martinis. The staff was friendly, and overall, we had a lovely experience. Thank you!

Haven't been in about 8-10months. Was lovely to see a brand new menu. I had a lovely meal as did my partner. It is a shame its always so dark inside but i know lots of people like this. Quick friendly staff. Food was served in reasonable time. Some food options were not available after the bank holiday. Overall a good experience

Korean Bbq chicken wings were smoky and flavourful. Not too spicy. Sliced chillies added another layer of taste. Ate with a house side salad. Completely balanced healthy light snack. Staff friendly. Service good. Apple crumble was good but topping could do with a bit more colour as it looked very pale. Overall great place to eat.

I had lunch at this restaurant and was very pleased with the experience. The menu features classic pub fare with a good variety to choose from. I made a reservation online, and upon arrival, a friendly waitress promptly showed me to my table. After ordering drinks, she took my food order when she brought them back. The meal was well-cooked, beautifully presented, and plentiful. There was nothing to complain about at all!

We were greeted very warmly upon arrival, and the young woman who took our order was lovely. The restaurant was spotless, and we didn't have to wait long for our food. We started with a fresh bread appetizer, which was excellent. I ordered the lasagna, and it was one of the best I've ever had. My partner chose the burger, which was also good. The only critique I have is that the bacon in the burger was slightly undercooked. However, that's just a small detail, and overall, we had a delightful evening.
